I am a Senior Software Engineer at StackAdapt. With over 7 years of experience building large-scale systems that serve more than 50 million daily active users, I lead the full-cycle development of new products and features from concept to deployment.
In 2024, I contributed to the PostgreSQL organization through Google Summer of Code, building dependency-free WAL parsing infrastructure for pgmoneta and creating the pgmoneta-walinfo CLI tool — work that shipped in the pgmoneta 0.15 release.
I hold an MSc in computer science from the University of Calgary, where I worked as a teaching assistant and research assistant under the supervision of Professor Robert Walker.
I received my BSc in computer software engineering from the University of Tehran.
